Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join a hospital-based cardiac catheterization team in Bryan, TX as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist). Assist physicians and cath lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and contribute to high-quality patient care across campus locations.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) verification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting.
• Experience scrubbing routine cath procedures and performing peripheral, neuro, and EP scrubbing, including experience with LAAO preferred.
• Experience with Merge Hemodynamics and documentation systems preferred.
• Experience with MEDITECH charting system preferred.
• State licensure as required.
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred if not already listed.
• Prior EP scrub experience, including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations.
• IR experience and emergent stroke case experience preferred for nurses.
• Cross-training in monitoring and hemodynamics preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0600-1500 (shift notes indicate M-F 0630-1500 with possible 0600 start depending on cases).
• Orientation hours: 12.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
• On-call responsibilities included per unit schedule.
• Will float between Bryan campus (home base) and a College Station campus as needed.
• Documentation/charting system: MEDITECH; Merge used for hemodynamics. Planned transition to EPIC Gold for documentation in October 2026 while retaining Merge for hemodynamics.
• Cancellation policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks.
