Become a vital part of a hospital team in Richmond, VA as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will perform CT imaging examinations, administer contrast according to hospital guidelines, prepare equipment and scanning areas, transport and escort patients, maintain equipment and quality control logs, and support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging needs. You will follow radiation safety protocols, provide patient education, document procedures, and collaborate with staff to deliver quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT registration including CT certification (ARRT(CT)).
• Current BLS certification.
• VA Radiology license required.
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience. 2 years CT experience preferred.
• Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings and ability to work independently in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Experience operating GE CT equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS preferred.
• 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
• Experience performing intravenous contrast administration and quality control testing.

Assignment Details

• 10-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Work schedule: Tuesday through Friday block shifts.
• Will cover inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room imaging.
• May be asked to float and cover at other facilities within the market.

Impacting Patient Care

As a CT Technologist on a travel assignment, you will provide essential diagnostic services that support timely clinical decision making across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. You will uphold radiation safety and quality assurance standards, contribute to patient education, and assist in training or mentoring students and trainees when requested.
