Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Sitka, AK as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to provide diagnostic imaging for patients across the lifespan. The role requires adherence to facility policies, cultural sensitivity, and reporting compliance variances as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT.
- BLS certification.
- Experience performing CT and general radiography (CT/XR) required.
- Ability to provide care across the lifespan and assess patient status per unit policies.
- Willingness to work with patients and staff from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
