Become a vital part of a hospital team in Midlothian, VA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging examinations, administer intravenous contrast per hospital guidelines, prepare equipment and scanning areas, and ensure safety for patients and staff. You will assist with general radiographic examinations as required, maintain equipment and quality control records, and document patient care. You will participate in rotating emergency call coverage and may be asked to float to other facilities within the market. You will be expected to demonstrate professional behavior consistent with organizational mission and values while contributing to a high quality patient experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (R) registration required. ARRT-CT preferred.
• Active BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
• Active VA Radiology license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required. 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
• Required experience operating GE CT scanners.
• Demonstrated detailed knowledge of Radiology/CT modalities and ability to gather, organize, verify, and analyze data for multi-step procedures.
• Willingness to participate in rotating call (every 6th week) with call shifts of 15.5 or 8 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC experience preferred.
• Prior experience in hospital radiology departments preferred.
• Experience performing intravenous contrast injections and quality control testing.

Assignment Details

• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Weekend shift hours: 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
• Call requirement: every 6th week. Call duration: 15.5 or 8 hours.
• May be asked to float to other facilities within the market.
