Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This travel opportunity is based in Portsmouth, VA at a hospital facility. The position requires fluoroscopy and OR/C-arm experience and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts and call rotations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification and registration with ARRT (required).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required prior to direct patient care).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Recent fluoroscopy experience and ability to perform fluoro procedures independently.
• OR experience and proficiency with C-arm required.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, call rotations including weekends and holidays.
• Travel experience preferred. Local candidates accepted.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.
• Prior travel assignments in acute care settings preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours typically 9:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Friday with call and holiday rotations.
• Call coverage includes overnight weekdays (9:00 pm–7:00 am) and full weekends from 9:00 pm Friday to 7:00 am Monday.
• Call technologist responsibilities include covering add-on OR/Fluoro cases and covering for overnight call-outs.
• GE imaging equipment on site.
