Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Wichita, KS as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images. The role requires independent problem solving, collaboration with clinical teams, and adherence to department protocols in a high-volume trauma and stroke center.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT registration in CT.
- Valid Kansas state license or ability to obtain KSBHA licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred. (Preferred status noted below.)
- Experience working independently and strong problem-solving skills.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with adult and pediatric CT patients in acute care settings preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE CT scanners, 64-slice and above.
- 2–3+ years of CT experience.
- Experience with CTA studies and CT stroke protocols.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and FUJI Synapse PACS.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
- Work schedule includes rotating weekends.
- Patient population includes adult and pediatric patients.
- Department operates in a high-volume, Level 1 trauma and primary stroke center averaging approximately 130 CT exams per day.

Impacting Patient Care
Work in a busy hospital setting where CT services support emergency, inpatient, and outpatient needs. You will perform a variety of studies including head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, trauma series, CTA chest/neck/abdomen, cardiac CTA, and CT stroke protocols. Your role will contribute to rapid diagnosis and treatment in a trauma and stroke center environment.
