Description

Become a vital part of a Gainesville, FL hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. Professional conduct and adherence to safety and imaging protocols are required.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program or equivalent educational preparation.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography as applicable.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience with contrast administration and CT imaging protocols in an acute care hospital setting.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced CT applications such as angiography or cardiac CT preferred.
  • Familiarity with PACS and hospital electronic medical record systems preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 07:00–19:00.
