Become a vital part of a hospital team in Monroe, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging, administer contrast agents per physician orders, operate CT equipment, and collaborate with care teams across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The role is high volume and team-focused with emphasis on patient-centered care and timely, accurate imaging.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year CT experience required.
• Dual Modality CT/DX required: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification preferred; ARRT (R)(CT) listed as required by client.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiology program preferred.
• Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment preferred.
• Experience in high-volume hospital environments, including ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
• Traveler permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit (radius rule).
• Photo ID required for compliance processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years CT technologist experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record preferred.
• Previous trauma center or teaching hospital experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays.
• Hours: 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
• Department orientation: 3–5 days depending on modality; NEO online courses required.
• Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks.
• Holiday coverage: travelers expected to work 75% of holidays.
• Parking: free.
• Scrub color: black.

Impacting Patient Care

You will support a 182-licensed-bed teaching hospital with Trauma Level IV designation, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center. The department manages approximately 325 patient encounters per day across modalities. Collaborate with nursing and transport staff to deliver timely imaging that informs acute and ongoing clinical decisions.

Monroe is approximately 30 minutes southeast of downtown Charlotte and within an hour of Lake Wylie and several regional parks.
