Description
Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Newton, MA at a hospital. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to deliver accurate, compassionate imaging services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M) certification required.
- Massachusetts state licensure required.
- Registered Technologist in Radiography or Mammography (RTRM) required.
- Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience preferred for clinical competency; client requires prior mammo experience.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Ability to work required schedule and comply with credentialing timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hospital imaging department preferred.
- Experience with digital mammography systems and patient positioning for diagnostic and screening exams preferred.
- Prior experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams preferred.
Assignment Details
- Mondays and Tuesdays: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.
- Fridays: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM.
- Total scheduled hours: 39 hours per week.
- Start date is contingent upon credentialing clearance; rescheduled start date may be necessary if clearance is delayed.
