Minimum Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT-T (Radiotherapy Technologist) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required for practice in the state.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Proficiency in the use of Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators.
• Experience working in high-volume outpatient radiation therapy settings or cancer clinics.
• Experience with EPIC/ARIA electronic medical records.
• Ability to work within a team of therapists and under department leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience at an outpatient cancer clinic treating a high daily patient volume (60–100 patients/day).
• Experience across multiple linear accelerator platforms. Preference will be given to candidates already proficient with Varian TrueBeam.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800 - 2000.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Department typically treats 60–100 patients per day and operates three machines daily.
- Orientation: New employee orientation plus 2 days departmental orientation.
- Potential to float to other Radiation Therapy sites in the greater Charlotte area, with manager approval if needed.

Impacting Patient Care
As a Radiation Therapist in this outpatient cancer clinic, you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and maintain accurate patient records. Your role supports timely, safe delivery of radiation therapy and contributes to departmental efficiency and patient outcomes.
