Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Pittsburgh, PA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physicians’ scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT equipment safely to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. Active certification and demonstrated CT experience are required for consideration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent educational credential.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT exams and following contrast injection protocols.
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications relevant to CT imaging preferred.
- Experience with advanced CT protocols and multi-detector CT scanners preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: Any 12-hour shifts (flexible).
- Variable schedule covering 24-hour department operations.
- Candidates must have active certification and a minimum of 2 years CT experience listed on resume for consideration.
