Description
Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team in Milwaukee, WI as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role involves inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases, occasional pediatric patients, and procedural support such as biopsies and drains.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography with CT credential (ARRT-CT required).
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience performing general CT studies including chest, abdomen/pelvis, head, calcium scoring, coronary studies, CTA perfusion, and stroke-alert protocols.
- Experience with interventional/ procedural CT support (biopsies, drains) in a hospital environment.
- Experience with GE CT systems preferred (GE Revolution and Evo preferred).
- Experience using EPIC or similar electronic medical record/charting systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of CT experience preferred when possible to meet facility preference.
- Previous experience working with pediatric patients, even if limited to adolescents, is a plus.
Assignment Details
- Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Shift hours: 08:00–20:30.
- Patient ratio typically 1:1 for procedures.
- Orientation: three shifts to learn unit flow.
- Holiday expectations include one summer and one winter holiday.

Impacting Patient Care
As a CT technologist in this role you will support diagnostic and interventional imaging that directly informs patient management. You will collaborate with CT tech colleagues, radiology nurses, respiratory therapists, and code teams. The facility enforces a fatigue policy limiting work to 60 hours per week or no more than five consecutive 12-hour shifts.
