Become a vital part of a hospital team in Montgomery, AL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment for inpatient and outpatient populations. The role includes working with adult patients and occasional pediatric outpatients and emergency department patients. You will perform procedures including trauma, angiography, biopsy/drainage, and stroke perfusion studies when required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience preferred; candidates with 1 year may be considered if strong in required skills.
• Experience with angiography procedures required.
• Experience with trauma and biopsy/drainage procedures preferred.
• Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR.
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital within the radiology department.
• Ability to work 1:1 patient ratios when indicated and manage an average throughput of approximately 4 patients per hour.
• State licensure preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Level II trauma center or primary stroke center environment.
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred but not required.
• Experience performing angiograms and stroke perfusion protocols.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 12-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shift schedules.
• Weekend rotation typically about once per month, subject to departmental needs.
• Orientation: 1 eight-hour hospital orientation plus 2–3 shifts on unit (day shift with another tech).
• Holiday expectations: one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy; scheduling varies per hospital policy.
• Parking provided free.
• Scrub color: any color.
• Floating required throughout the hospital radiology areas.
