Become a vital part of a hospital team in Klawock, AK as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast material, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for patients across the lifespan. This role includes participation in quality assurance, equipment care, and supporting interventional procedures when needed. The position may require cross-training in other imaging modalities and occasional leadership responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in CT. (Client requirement: MUST HAVE CT CERTIFICATION).
• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform diagnostic CT examinations of all body parts and apply radiation protection principles.
• Experience with PACS review, quality assurance, and radiology record maintenance.
• Ability to assist with invasive/interventional procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Willingness and ability to rotate shifts, take call, and report to work within 20 minutes when required.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform duties in additional imaging modalities (e.g., Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography) as assigned.
• Flu vaccine required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in lead technologist or supervisory duties, including scheduling, staff orientation, and process improvement.
• Competence in tele-radiology transmission and automatic injector operation.
• Experience in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric imaging adjustments.

Assignment Details

• Work pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
• Must be willing to float to other facilities as required.
• Must be available for on-call response and able to report within 20 minutes when called.
