Description
Become a vital part of the care team in Newton, MA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform a variety of CT procedures for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric under the direction of a qualified physician and CT Operations Manager. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images, administering contrast agents as ordered, and inserting and removing IVs while adhering to federal, state, and hospital policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
- ARRT Registered RT(R) or RT(N).
- Minimum of 1 year radiology experience required.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to insert and remove IVs.
- Knowledge of care for adult and older adult patients preferred.
- If not CT-registered at time of hire, must obtain ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography within one year (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Assignment Details
- Workdays include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Start date based on credentialing clearance; if not cleared by posted start date, a rescheduled start date will be necessary.
