Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board (CT).
- One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- BLS certification.
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical ventilators and arterial blood gas sampling preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Prior experience in acute care or critical care environments preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0700-1930.
- Shift hours noted in VMS as 7:00a-7:30p.
