Become a vital part of a hospital-based team in Aventura, FL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents as required, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. The role requires collaboration with radiologists, technologists, and ancillary staff to maintain quality and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Experience with GE CT equipment strongly preferred.
• Experience using Meditech or similar hospital EMR preferred.
• Ability to perform CT scans, assist with MRI and general radiographic procedures as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT credentials preferred.
• Experience working in stroke center settings or with high-acuity patients preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 20:00 - 06:30.
• Night shift coverage.
• Workload may vary based on patient volume; typical night team includes 3–4 technologists with on-call support.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide diagnostic imaging that directly informs clinical decisions for emergency, inpatient, and stroke patients. Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure image quality, patient safety, and timely workflows. Maintain documentation and comply with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
