Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Cincinnati, OH. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure quality assurance of imaging processes. You will monitor patients during procedures, assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, and apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required).
• State radiology license as required by Ohio (preferred unless required by state where job is performed).
• BLS (American Heart Association) required prior to direct patient care.
• Experience with OR and fluoroscopy highly preferred.
• Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred.
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information System and PACS preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in interventional radiology with references.
• Training or familiarity with EPIC EHR.
• Experience working in hospital settings and with a range of patient populations including neonates through geriatrics.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 5x8s with schedule varying between first and second shift; schedule details to be discussed during interview with hiring manager.
• Locals accepted.
• May be required to perform peri-procedural duties including aseptic surgical technique and timeouts.

Impacting Patient Care

As a radiologic professional you will contribute to safe, effective diagnostic and interventional care by obtaining clinical histories, positioning patients, verifying informed consent, documenting pre/post procedure details, monitoring patient condition, and evaluating image quality. You will interact professionally with physicians, technologists, hospital staff, patients, and families while following ALARA principles and institutional policies.
