We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

• Experience operating invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment
• Experience with oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer devices
• Experience performing oximetry and capnography monitoring
• Experience performing 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition
• Experience performing pulmonary function studies
• Experience assisting with respiratory-related procedures including bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement
• Experience with tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes
• Experience performing arterial puncture
• Experience with mechanical ventilation setup, self-testing, operation, maintenance, and monitoring
• Experience performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines
• Experience with insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes via free hand technique and/or video laryngoscope system

• Schedule: 3x12
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
