We are seeking an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer to join the Perinatology team at a high-quality fetal imaging center in Yuma, AZ. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with perinatologists while performing advanced diagnostic ultrasound studies throughout all stages of pregnancy.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in obstetric and MFM ultrasound, including fetal anatomy assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth studies, Doppler examinations, and transvaginal ultrasound. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographer looking to further develop and maintain their advanced fetal imaging expertise.

MFM Sonographer Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies during all trimesters of pregnancy.

• Perform first-trimester dating and early fetal anatomic assessments.

• Conduct detailed second- and third-trimester anatomic assessments.

• Perform fetal growth assessments and Doppler studies.

• Perform fetal echocardiography and advanced fetal imaging studies.

• Perform transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound examinations.

• Perform genetic sonograms and detailed/targeted obstetric ultrasounds.

• Perform ultrasound examinations for multiple gestations.

• Assist with imaging related to invasive diagnostic procedures, including genetic amniocentesis.

• Perform appropriate gynecologic ultrasound assessments related to pregnancy.

• Evaluate patient history and symptoms to determine appropriate imaging procedures.

• Clearly explain procedures to patients and assess their ability to tolerate examinations.

• Ensure accurate image acquisition, documentation, and timely completion of exams.

• Maintain equipment and accessories and report any issues requiring repair.

• Participate in modality-specific QA/QC programs and maintain compliance with applicable standards.

• Follow protocols established by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).

• Collaborate directly with perinatologists and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain proficiency in MFM Ultrasound Technician III competencies.

• Maintain current knowledge and skills across applicable patient age groups.

• Assist physicians with additional imaging procedures as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of ultrasound experience preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography/Ultrasound Technology program or Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology

• Current ARDMS/RDMS registration required

• BLS certification required

• Strong experience with obstetric/MFM ultrasound

• Experience with first, second, and third-trimester imaging

• Experience with fetal anatomy, growth assessments, and Doppler studies

• Experience with transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound

• Ability to perform multiple forms of ultrasound imaging and Doppler assessment

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

• NT Certification preferred

• Bachelor's degree preferred

💰 Travel Pay Package:

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,650/week
Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,404/week
Non-Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,246/week

🏠 Local Pay Package:

Local Gross Pay: $2,484/week
Hourly Rate: $59/hour
