We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Independence, MO.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: 12/14

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁: Nights - 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: 48 hours/week

𝗘𝗠𝗥: Meditech

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Telemetry Unit

Must Have

𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: BLS, ACLS

Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills

Experience managing vasoactive drips

Typical Procedures

Central Line or PICC line placement

Chest tube placements

Unit Specifics

𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝘀: 36

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘀: 1:3 to 1:5 depending on shift and staffing

𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps

Staffing & Scheduling

Typically RN-based care, with patient care techs available as staffing permits. Unit secretaries are scheduled 7:00 AM-7:00 PM.

48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation

Rotating holiday schedule

Floating Policy

PRN staff float once per week. FT/PT staff float based on rotation. Bonus shifts float first.
