We are hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Neuro/Spine Medical Surgical assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. This high-acuity Med-Surg/Telemetry unit cares for post-operative neuro and spinal surgery patients, trauma patients, stroke patients, and post-ICU patients.

𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Active Indiana RN license
• 1-2 years of RN experience
• ACLS and BLS required
• NIHSS required; can be obtained during the first week of orientation
• Expert neuro assessment skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Drain management experience
• Post-surgical care experience
• Chest tube experience
• Groin site management following IR procedures

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

• 24-bed unit
• Patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
• Higher-acuity Med-Surg environment
• Post-op neuro/spinal surgeries
• Level 2 trauma and Level 1 trauma post-ICU patients
• Stroke, DKA, renal failure and general post-op patients

36-Hour Package: $2,131/week gross
Taxable: $864/week
Non-Taxable: $1,267/week

48-Hour Package: $2,827/week gross
Taxable: $1,560/week
Non-Taxable: $1,267/week
