We are hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This is a high-acuity Cardio Thoracic unit caring for cardiac, pulmonary, and general medical patients.

Shifts: Nights

Schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s

Hours: 36 or 48 Hours/Week

Shift Times:7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Experience: 2 Years Required

Weekend: Every Other Weekend

Call: None at this time

Floating: General Medical Units

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• 2 years of RN experience required

• BLS (AHA) required

• ACLS recommended

• Active RN license required

• Strong EKG interpretation skills

• Medication titration experience required

• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

• 70-bed Cardio Thoracic unit

• Patient ratios: Days 1:4-5 | Nights 1:5-6

• 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor

• Patient care techs available

• Phillips telemetry monitoring with monitor techs

• Nurses must independently interpret telemetry strips

• CPAP, BiPAP and heated high-flow experience

• Drip titration including Cardizem and heparin

• MI

• CHF

• A-Fib

• COPD

• Pacemaker/AICD placement

• Lung surgeries

• Chest tubes

• Esophagectomy patients

• General medical overflow

36-Hour Package: $2,347/week gross

Taxable: $1,080/week

Non-Taxable: $1,267/week

48-Hour Package: $3,113/week gross

Taxable: $1,846/week

Non-Taxable: $1,267/week
