Registered Nurse (RN) - Urology | Milwaukee, WI

Facility: SLMC - Urology Center
Shift: Day Shift | 4x8 Hours (32 Hours/Week)
Schedule: Flexible start time at 8 AM, 9 AM, or 10 AM
Contract: Travel and Local Opportunities

Pay Rates:

• Travel: $2,432 Gross/Week

  • Taxable Pay: $864/Week

  • Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,568/Week

• Local: $2,208 Gross/Week ($69/Hour)

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for adult urology patients.

• Assist physicians during cystoscopy, TURP, TURBT, ureteroscopy, and prostate biopsy procedures.

• Manage patient preparation, positioning, consent, documentation, and transportation.

• Perform catheter changes and handle specimen transport.

• Monitor patient safety and document pain assessments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

• BLS certification required.

• Urology or procedural nursing experience.

• EPIC experience preferred.

• Must be willing to participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

• May float to the Main OR after cross-training, based on skill set.

On-Call Requirements:

• One weekend of call approximately every 5 weeks.

• Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM.

• Holiday on-call rotation as required.
