Description

If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular in Austin, TX this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including heart disease, hypertension, heart failure, and post-surgical recovery.
Monitor and assess patients' cardiac status, including heart rhythms, vital signs, and oxygen levels.
Administer medications, including antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, vasodilators, and other cardiovascular drugs, per physician orders.
Prepare patients for and assist during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including pacemaker insertions, angioplasty, and bypass surgeries.

Qualifications:

TX Registered Nurse license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Cardiovascular Nurse (preferred)
