Opportunity:
CT Scan Tech
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities
• 1 year of experience preferable, minimum 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT)
• Siemens experience and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must work with Siemens Force-Somaris 7, Siemens Go.top-Somaris 10, and Siemens Somatom Definition-Somaris 7 equipment
• Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Handle Level 1 trauma cases, routine studies, outpatients, cardiac, and interventional radiology procedures
• Experience with biopsies and drainage procedures preferred
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Hurricane season assignment to emergency response teams may be required (June-November)
Facility:
This is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center with 865 staffed beds. The facility operates as a comprehensive stroke center providing advanced medical care across multiple specialties. The hospital features state-of-the-art imaging equipment and serves as a major healthcare hub with a daily census of approximately 130 patients in the imaging department, utilizing 3 CT rooms for comprehensive diagnostic services.
