Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work primarily 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts with occasional 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM shifts one day per week
• Weekend requirement: one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off those weekends
• No holiday requirements
• First to float when needed
• Cover Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER areas
• Treat approximately 12+ patients per day
• Work with general medical/deconditioned patients, total knee arthroplasty (TKA), total hip arthroplasty (THA), spinal surgery, general orthopedic patients, and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) patients
• Acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), California PT license
• Dress code: burgundy polo and scrub or khaki bottoms
• Use Cerner charting system
• General hospital orientation followed by department-specific training in each area
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
• BSN not required

The facility maintains a supportive environment with dedicated rehabilitation staff and modern equipment to serve a diverse patient population requiring acute physical therapy interventions.
