Opportunity:

1Y/1ST TIMER - Acute Care OR LIC OT - Req 9899

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour days preferred (8-hour shifts may be considered with flexibility)
• Variable weekend schedule required - all staff work weekends
• Must work one holiday per year on rotation schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Float between units within the hospital (training provided)
• Provide occupational therapy services to any assigned unit
• Must have minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience
• Oregon license required (can submit with pending license)
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must have vehicle for assignment
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include acute care, assessment, discharge planning, evaluation, home exercise programs, lifting and transfers, patient/family education, plan of care, reassessments, and safety/injury prevention
• Any color scrubs allowed (OR scrubs provided)
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 16 hours)

Facility:

This 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services with a daily census of approximately 165 patients. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and provides ongoing training and development opportunities for healthcare professionals.
