Opportunity:
CT Technologist - Emergency Department
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• No call requirements or floating requirements
• No weekend coverage required
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have experience with hospitals over 500 beds
• Will accept first-time travelers
• Daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms
• Typical caseload for one tech in 12-hour shift is 15-20 patients
• Very fast-paced emergency department environment
• Work with patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform routine ED scans, Code Stroke protocols, and Level II trauma cases
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT)
• Must have experience with GE and Siemens FORCE scanners
• CT procedure experience required: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
• Experience with EPIC and Visage systems required
• Must complete lab testing within 48 hours of signing
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Facility:
This 650-bed healthcare facility operates as a Level II trauma center providing comprehensive emergency and critical care services. The emergency department features state-of-the-art CT scanning technology including Siemens FORCE scanners and maintains a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes. The facility serves diverse patient populations across all age groups and provides specialized stroke and trauma protocols with interdisciplinary support teams.
