Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends except for call shifts
• 2 years minimum experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Serve patients from pediatrics to geriatrics population
• Required certifications: NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM), BLS
• Perform HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying, brain death studies, myocardial perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scan, I-131 ablations (<30 mCi), renal scans with or without Lasix, parathyroid scans
• Work with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems (required experience)
• Dress code requires black, gray, or purple scrubs
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Possible call requirements: Monday-Friday 4:00 PM-10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM-10:00 PM (1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend)
• May float to Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside for STAT inpatients
• Holiday work required based on assignment period - work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
• 13 orientation hours required
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• EKG experience preferred
