Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 2+ years of experience required in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel experience required
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Heart experience highly preferred - priority consideration for candidates with cardiac experience
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Navy scrubs required
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required
• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
• Care for patients with various diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative surgery cases
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• 42-bed unit with East wing (20 beds), West wing (22 beds), including Neuro/Med (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surg/Trauma (14 beds)
