Opportunity:

PT, OT, Speech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirement - must work either every Saturday or every Sunday
• Holiday coverage required in rotation with permanent staff (typically one major and one minor holiday)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS certification
• Speech Therapist must have CCC-SLP certification
• Speech Therapist must have experience with swallow studies
• OT with swallow experience preferred (rare specialty certification)
• Floor-specific orientation consists of 3 shifts
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations depending on assignment
• Inpatient areas include general inpatient, rehabilitation, and sub-acute units
• Outpatient locations include freestanding clinic (ortho, sports medicine) and main campus clinic
• Patient populations include orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, lymphedema, spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, bariatric, ICU, cardiac, and ventilated patients
• Use Cerner electronic medical record system
• Uniform provided: polo shirts with khakis or black pants
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments
