Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts
• Start date: ASAP
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios on nights and weekends
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in emergency department seeing minimum 95 patients per day
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• PALS certification preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, IV starts and maintenance, and triage
• Handle various emergency cases including CVA, gunshot wounds, head injuries, orthopedic trauma, and near drowning incidents
• Work in 22-room, 30-bed emergency department
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually
• Provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during compliance process
