Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Medical telemetry unit with 37 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:6, or 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Night shift staffing includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Perform procedures including central lines, medication drips, Heart Cath recovery, and bubble studies
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong independent critical thinking skills, and an engaged work ethic

This facility is a well-established medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The telemetry unit is supported by a dedicated team of nursing staff, patient care technicians, and unit clerks committed to providing high-quality patient care. The facility utilizes the Meditech electronic medical records system and is equipped with modern technology to support a variety of clinical procedures and patient monitoring needs.
