Opportunity:
ED RN
Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Must have 2+ years of emergency department experience with some pediatrics experience
• Travel experience is required
• Must live 75+ miles away from facility for travel rate (local rate available for those within 75 miles)
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations
• Manage common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Administer complex drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with multiple specialized areas including triage, acute care, trauma, and psychiatric units
