Opportunity:

ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating policy in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers
• Use GE monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and Drager ventilators
• Document using Meditech system
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced skills needed include ventilator/sedation management and medication titration
• Procedures performed include trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, completion of communication board, and medication teaching
• Must wear charcoal gray scrubs as uniform requirement
• Unit supported by tech staff availability
