Opportunity:

Travel RN ** Alaska perm RN license is required for submission **Operating Room (701)

Job Details:

• Work three twelve-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts required if possible
• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
• On-call responsibilities required - averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (approximately 15 call shifts per month)
• Call requirements vary from month to month, typically 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks
• Experience needed in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics
• Must function as patient advocate and circulator while serving as resource for sterile field
• Experience as circulator required
• Experience as scrub preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Work with variety of OR beds and equipment
• Epic EMR system
• Required certifications: Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must have positive outlook and willingness to work with team members
• Handle procedures including Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, and variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
• Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes, or plastics procedures

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive Operating Room department with 11 operating rooms located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building. The facility utilizes advanced technology including variety of robotic surgical systems and maintains modern OR equipment. The department operates with varying staffing levels including an average of 8 RNs, 8 scrub techs, and 5 surgical support techs during day shifts, with dedicated night shift coverage and call team backup. The facility maintains high standards for patient care with 1:1 patient ratios and provides scrubs for all staff members.
