Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Must have 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 travel assignment
• MEDITECH experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Caribbean Blue scrubs only
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• Complete ORT during week one of assignment
• 2-shift floor specific orientation
• Must provide driver's license address with submission
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Perform lab draws and start own IVs
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma, CVA, and various medical conditions
• Work with 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psych
• Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
• Support from 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift
• Security and patient sitters available as needed

The emergency department includes a dedicated 6-bed behavioral health lockdown area and serves as a CVA center. The facility is equipped with advanced life support capabilities and maintains trauma services, though some complex cases may be transferred to higher-level trauma centers.
