Opportunity:

CT Technologist - Emergency Department

Job Details:

• Must be proficient with Siemens equipment and able to work independently
• Handle typical Emergency Department patients including trauma cases requiring multiple scans
• Perform extremity examinations from the emergency department
• Conduct stroke protocol imaging procedures
• Work with daily census of 30-50 patients
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, and valid CA license
• Must have 2 years of experience required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Guaranteed hours with facility able to call off once per two-week pay period
• Required to wear black scrubs
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• May be required to float between hospital units or affiliate hospitals
• Skills include contrast administration, IV starts, various CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging
• Work with patients of all age groups from infants to geriatrics

This acute care hospital is a 25-bed facility that provides comprehensive emergency and imaging services to the community. The facility maintains modern equipment including Siemens CT scanners and utilizes Epic charting systems. The hospital specializes in emergency department care with a focus on trauma imaging, stroke protocols, and comprehensive diagnostic services for patients of all ages.
