Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D (707) - HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge - 7A - 7P

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Seasonal travel nursing position in Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient ratios of 2:1, with 1:1 for complicated patients
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital L&D experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN or EFM
• Preferred experience in Mom/Baby, Peds and/or NICU
• Perform vaginal deliveries and c-section deliveries
• Provide delivery of care through nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients
• Work with FHR monitors (Novii and GE), FSE (fetal scalp electrodes)
• Use EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
• Work in unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 L&D ORs

The facility features a well-equipped maternity department with dedicated operating rooms, recovery areas, and triage capabilities. The unit maintains experienced nursing staff and offers specialized care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum cases, utilizing advanced fetal monitoring systems and electronic medical records.
