Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work in a high-volume emergency department with 101 beds
• Patient ratios are typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling required with flexibility to meet department needs
• Block scheduling is not available
• Must be open to floating to all sections within the ED; no floating outside of the ED
• Use Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Document using Cerner electronic health record system
• Follow AIDET patient experience standards and maintain updated patient boards throughout each visit
• Navy scrubs required as dress code
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year in an ER setting
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits) preferred
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required
• Required certifications prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
