Opportunity:

B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• First to float and may float to sister facility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (must be recent within past 6 months)
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 on 26-bed unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be able to interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry monitoring
• Work with Airvo/High Flow ventilation equipment
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to position acceptance (2 maximum attempts only)
• Pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation with study guides provided
• 2-day floor-specific orientation
• Use Cerner charting system
• Care for patients with neurological conditions, CVAs, pulmonary issues, and general telemetry cases
• Work alongside PCTs (1 per every 13 patients) and charge nurse without patient assignment
• 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available
• Hospitalist rounds during day and on call at night
