Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling available but never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active New York nursing license required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Operate in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds
