Description

Nurse Supervisor

Location: Brooklyn, New York
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 14 weeks (96 days)
Shift: Monday-Friday with 1 weekend shift required per month

Job Summary

Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance.
Monitor patient care performance and assess units alongside nurse managers.
Communicate and assist with corrective actions as needed.
Develop record-keeping systems to document medication errors and counseling.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Experience in supervisory roles
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

This position involves leadership responsibilities and requires strong communication and organizational skills.
The role includes oversight of patient care quality and staff performance.
