Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2436.64
Opportunity:
NICU - Level 4
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Level 3 or 4 NICU experience required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Manager interview required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, Cardiac STABLE plus
• Patient ratios: 1:2 ICU, 1:3 Level 2
• Work every 3rd weekend (4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks)
• Work 3 of 6 major holidays based on unit coverage
• Navy scrubs required
• EMR system: Cerner
• May float to mother baby and labor care (babies only)
• Complete mandatory Day 1 pass/fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion
• Complete additional training for lifts, restraints, and wound care
• Floor-specific orientation: 2-3 days
• Care for premature infants, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, surgical cases, ECMO and cooling patients
• Charge nurse responsibilities available with no patient assignment
• Work with neonatologists and midlevels available 24/7
• 50-mile radius rule applies

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive Level 4 NICU with 71 beds including 17 stepdown beds and 4 private rooms. The facility maintains high standards with 24/7 respiratory therapy, specialized NICU pharmacy services during day hours, and continuous neonatologist coverage. The unit utilizes advanced technology including Phillips telemetry systems and provides critical care for the most complex neonatal cases including ECMO and therapeutic cooling.
