Job Details:

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments
• Work independently in completing assignments
• Follow physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies
• Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families
• RN license from any state is acceptable - Arizona state license not required
• Required certifications must be maintained throughout employment:
  - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
  - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
  - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - required within one year of hire
  - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - required within one year of hire
  - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - required within one year of hire
  - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - must be completed within 6 months of hire
  - Emergency Severity Index Level 5 - required within 3 months of hire
  - Patient Sitter Competency Training - required upon hire

Facility:

This JCAHO accredited health center provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The hospital features a bed capacity of 73 and offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. The medical staff includes a wide range of specialists such as surgeons, internal medicine physicians, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, obstetricians, ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and urologists, supported by a robust nursing team including registered nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and CRNAs.
