Opportunity:
Ultrasound Technologist
Job Details:
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12s, rotating days/nights)
• Saturday/Sunday: 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Monday: 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM
• Float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS or ARRT Sonography
• Preferred certifications: ARDMS (AB) and ARDMS (OB)
• EPIC experience required, InteleRad PACS preferred
• Siemens equipment experience required
• PACS and portable equipment experience needed
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• 40-hour orientation required
• Work with patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform various ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular studies, and biopsies
• Handle emergency department cases and portable studies
• Complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date
Facility:
This is a 517-bed Level II trauma center and the largest hospital in a comprehensive health system. The facility provides specialized ultrasound services with separate departments for women's and children's care. The ultrasound department is staffed with multiple technologists across shifts and offers advanced imaging services including liver elastography, renal transplant studies, and various biopsy procedures. The facility emphasizes exceptional patient care and provides comprehensive services to the surrounding community.
