Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - OR

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate individualized plans of care including discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation of assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership activities within the department or facility
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors as appropriate
• May provide relief charge responsibilities for staff and workflow management of the department in some locations
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing or higher required
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to ASC services pediatrics
• Core position (FT/PT): Minimum one year of licensed RN experience in OR required, or enrollment in PeriOp101 program with successful completion within 4 months
• PRN position: Minimum two years of licensed RN experience in OR required
• Additional OR or perioperative RN experience strongly preferred
