Job Details:
• Block schedule required with weekend coverage on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• On-call required for one week of standby call during the duration of the contract
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Hospital experience and acute care experience required
• Must have worked at a Level 3 trauma hospital at minimum
• Direct patient care within the last year required
• Epic charting experience required (hard stop)
• GE Scanner experience required (hard stop)
• Oregon OBMI license required prior to start
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS
• Scrub color: Any color
• No parking fee
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, chest without and/or with contrast, emergency department, head without and/or with contrast, heart imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, trauma head, vascular CTA, and venipuncture
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days of requested time off can be auto-approved; must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility operates with 418 staffed beds and 450 total beds, providing comprehensive medical services across multiple specialties. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics, and provides a well-equipped environment with modern imaging technology.
