Opportunity:
CT Tech
Job Details:
• 4x10 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating day off
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• ARRT CT certification must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient work settings required
• Level I Trauma or large hospital setting experience preferred
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub colors: Black, Red, or White
• Required CT procedures include: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Preferred CT procedures include: aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies
• Required general skills include: PACS and contrast administration
• Preferred general skills include: IV starts, portables, and biopsies
• Handle high complexity cases in a Level I trauma center environment
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off within a 13-week contract
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a large teaching hospital and Level I trauma center with 1,259 staffed beds. The facility operates at a high level of complexity, managing a wide range of patient cases from acute care to trauma. The facility uses all Siemens scanners within the CT department and utilizes EPIC for charting, supporting a comprehensive and technology-forward patient care environment.
